Crosscope

Crosscope, abbreviated for “Computational Microscope”, – is a medical AI software startup building digital pathology workflows and AI-based cancer diagnostic tools for hospitals and diagnostic labs to augment pathology.

They are developing a platform to support improved pathology workflows that will assist pathologists, not replace them. Their first AI image analysis solution is focused on breast cancer and is intended to be for triaging biopsy cancer images to identify regions of interest for pathologists to subsequently study and render an assessment. They intend to more than double a pathologists’ image analysis capacity and improve accuracy.
Crosscope has built a telepathology network with more than 3500 pathology experts currently using their software for second opinion consultations and pathology image sharing.
